    Campaign - Pacific - USS Princeton Fighting Squadron Vf-27 - Big Day - Oct. 24, 1944, Leyte Gulf - became ace in a day after shooting down five attacking Japanese fighters/bomber planes.
    Markings - dark blue with gray and white underbelly with No. 23 on wheels and tail. White star in blue circle on rear fuselage and wings. Faded/degraded cat mouth decal on nose.
    Model - Grumman F6-F Hellcat
    Condition - used with minor wear on box and some paint wear on plane decals (see wear on Cat Mouth in front on nose). One hole in styrofoam case under right wheel.
